Eather was going alonEather was going along a communication trench near Bullecourt when a shell caught him and several others of his platoon and some of them were ever seen again though they were searched. This was on May 5th 1917. I did not actually see the casualty although I was close to at the time. Eather was my platoon sergeant in B. Coy before he was transferred to A. Coy. He was about 5'10" in height, with a medium complexion and a good figure.
