Herbert Leslie DUNSTAN
5588 Private David DUNSTAN, a 34 year old Contractor from Donald, Victoria, enlisted in the AIF on 25 March 1916 and was allotted to the 21st Battalion, 15th Reinforcements which embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A9 [i]Shropshire[/i] on 25 September 1916. During Great War, while with the 21st Battalion, Private DUNSTAN was wounded in action at La Sars on 13 February 1917 and subsequently died of wounds on 10 April 1917 at the Military Hospital, Dover, and was buried at the St James's Cemetery, Dover, United Kingdom.
