John Willie MOYLE
3394 Private John Willie MOYLE, a 29 year old Contractor from 320 Rokeby Road, Subiaco, Western Australia, enlisted in the AIF on 2 February 1916 and was allotted to the Australian 44th Infantry Battalion, 8th Reinforcements which embarked from Fremantle, Western Australia on board HMAT A30 [i]Borda[/i] on 29 June 1917. During Great War, while with the 44th Infantry Battalion, Lance Corporal MOYLE was killed in action on 5 July 1918 at Villers-Bretonneux, France and was buried in the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery, France.
