Laura Annie MacKINNON, (1893-1984), father Ewan and mother Euphemia Cath nee CUNNINGHAM. She lived at 8 O'Grady Street Clifton Hill in 1917. Her brother Duncan Cornelius embarked with the 24th Battalion, 8th Reinforcement, Regimental Number 3568, as a Private, and returned to Australia commissioned as a Lieutenant on 28 February 1919. Laura married James Thomas BARNARD in 1926, had two children and lived in Hughesdale, and then Carnegie, Victoria until her death at the age of 91.
