Arthur FROST
3318 Private Arthur FROST, a 22 year old Picker from Miller Lane, Canterbury, New South Wales, enlisted in the AIF on 22 July 1915 and was allotted to the Australian 1st Infantry Battalion, 11th Reinforcements which embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board HMAT A32 [i]Themistocles[/i] on 5 October 1915. During Great War, while with the 1st Infantry Battalion, Private FROST was killed in action at Demicourt on 9 April 1917, and was commemorated at the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
