The Case of Fred Woods
Collie sub-branch of the R.S.L. is handling the case of Fred Woods, which will be heard next month before the Pensions Appeal Tribunal. President Harry May will present the facts on his behalf, and there is no one who understands the details better. "The Woods case" was fought through every channel, R.S.L. and political, for years by the league, and those members in this State who were conversant with it were convinced that Woods was justly entitled to a pension. However, their efforts on his behalf were not successful. The result of the appeal to a fresh set of judges will be awaited with interest.
