10 Sergeant Cyril Richard CORNISH, a 24 year old Locomotive Engine Driver from Margaret Road, Midland Junction, Western Australia who enlisted in the AIF on 5 December 1915 and was allotted to the 44th Infantry Battalion, "A" Company which embarked from Fremantle on the HMAT A29 Suevic, 6 June 1916. At the conclusion of the Great War, CORNISH Returned to Australia, 9 December 1918.
