6733 Private Henry James GIBB, a 65 year old Farmer from Victoria Street, Darlinghurst, New South Wales enlisted in the AIF on 31 July 1916 and was allotted to the 14th Infantry Battalion, 22nd Reinforcement which embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board SS Port Napier on 17 November 1916. During Great War, while with the Australian 14th Infantry Battalion, Private GIBB was Killed in action at Aubigny on 7 June 1918, and was buried in the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery, France.
