An interesting visitor to Perth last week was Mr. J. S. G. Williams, an ex-member of the 51st Battalion, who took part in various operations of that unit and colleted a fair share, of a 5.9 in the capture of Villers Bretonneux. Mr. Williams has a cattle station 180 miles from Roebourne, and recently overlanded some of his fat stock to Meekatharra for train to Perth. He introduced two of his native stockmen to the City of Perth, with many humorous results, particularly when the dusky couple bumped against one of the elephants from Wirth's Circus. "By Cri," said one, when he recovered from his astonishment, "big fella roo got em tail wrong end!"
