Valentine Christopher SPARROW, a 22 year old Hardware assistant from 144 Murray Street, Perth, Western Australia, enlisted in the AIF on 17 February 1916 and was allotted to 16th Battalion, 17th Reinforcement which embarked from Fremantle, Western Australia, on board HMAT A60 Aeneas on 17 April 1916. After the Great War SPARROW Returned to Australia, 4 June 1919.
