1st Australian Light Horse Brigade, AIF, 4th Reinforcement, embarked from Brisbane, Queensland on board HMAT A15 Star Of England 8 April 1915.
The HMAT A15 Star of England, later renamed Port Sydney, weighed 9,136 tons with an average cruise speed of 13.5 knots or 25.00 kmph. It was owned by the Commonwealth & Dominion Line Ltd, London, and leased by the Commonwealth until 22 September 1917.

Embarkation Roll
181 Driver George Arthur AYRE, an 18 year old Clerk from Albion, Queensland. He enlisted on 14 December 1914; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 15 June 1919.
182 Driver William Henry ELSBURY, a 25 year old Clerk from Brisbane, Queensland. He enlisted on 15 December 1914; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 15 June 1919.
183 Driver Alexander Harrison MABBUTT, a 21 year old Jeweller from South Brisbane, Queensland. He enlisted on 15 December 1914; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 1 August 1919.
184 Driver Bernard Francis McCABE, a 23 year old Painter from Cleveland, Queensland. He enlisted on 15 December 1914; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 9 March 1919.
