Ulverston Troop Nominal Roll
After the formation of the Ulverston Troop as part of "B" Squadron, Tasmanian Mounted Infantry, the rolls were actively filled. Below is a list of the first men to enlist in the Ulverston Troop from 1899 to 1901.
H. Bishop, enlisted on 28 June 1901, from Sprent, stated occupation as Farmer, and was allotted Regimental Number 34.
C. Bond, enlisted on 28 June 1901, from North Motton, stated occupation as Farmer, and was allotted Regimental Number 35.
A. Haustein, enlisted on 4 October 1899, from North Motton, stated occupation as Labourer, and was allotted Regimental Number 36.
J. Pearson, enlisted on 17 September 1899, from Ulverstone, stated occupation as Farmer, and was allotted Regimental Number 33.
G.P. Taylor, enlisted on 3 March 1892, from Ulverstone, stated occupation as Watchmaker, and was allotted Regimental Number 32.
