4th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, "B" Squadron Anglo Egyptian Group, embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A25 Anglo Egyptian 19 October 1914.
The HMAT A25 Anglo-Egyptian weighed 7,379 tons with an average cruise speed of 14 knots or 25.92 kmph. It was owned by the Nitrate Producers SS Co, London, and leased by the Commonwealth until 16 April 1917.

246 Driver Charles Frederick CROSS, a 20 year old Plumber from Hamilton, Victoria. He enlisted on 22 August 1914; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 17 April 1920.
311 Private William Albert MASTIN, a 19 year old Grocer from Hamilton, Victoria. He enlisted on 22 August 1914; and subsequently Returned to Australia 8 April 1918.
333 Driver Frederick Rowland RIGBY, a 19 year old Blacksmith from Hamilton, Victoria. He enlisted on 22 August 1914; and subsequently was Killed in Action 18 April 1918.
