The SS Port Darwin was built in 1918 and weighed 8,179 tons with an average cruise speed of 16 knots or 29.63 kmph. It was owned by the Commonwealth & Dominion Line, and manned by Australian officers and mainly by Australian crews. The Port Darwin was scrapped in 1948.

21660 Sapper Sydney William BENNETT, a 28 year old Blacksmith from St Mary's, New South Wales. He enlisted on 12 November 1917; and subsequently Died of Disease, 21 October 1918.
21661 Sapper Frank Ernest CALLAWAY, a 37 year old Jeweller from Brunswick, Victoria. He enlisted on 1 September 1917; and subsequently was Discharged in Britain, 10 April 1920.
21662 Sapper Albert William HARBECK, a 21 year old Postal worker from Brighton, Victoria. He enlisted on 15 May 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 26 March 1919.
21663 Sapper David ROSS, an 18 year old Telegraph operator from Block 45 via Kallaroo, Western Australia. He enlisted on 25 May 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 3 July 1919.
