4th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 21st Reinforcement Clan Maccorquodale Group, embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A6 Clan Maccorquodale 19 September 1916.
The HMAT A6 Clan Maccorquodale weighed 5121 tons with an average cruise speed of 15 knots or 27.78 kmph. It was owned by the Cayser, Irvin and Co., Glasgow, and leased by the Commonwealth until 14 April 1915. The Clan Maccorquodale was torpedoed and sunk in Mediterranean, 17 November 1917.

Embarkation Roll
2956 Private Gavin William Reginald SCOTT, a 38 year old Farmer from Tempy, Victoria. He enlisted on 5 November 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 24 May 1920.
2931 Acting Sergeant William Charles Henry WATT, a 26 year old Driver from St Kilda, Victoria. He enlisted on 26 August 1916; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 5 March 1919.
