6th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 3rd Reinforcement, embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board HMAT A6 Clan Mccorquodale 6 February 1915.
The HMAT A6 Clan Maccorquodale weighed 5,121 tons with an average cruise speed of 15 knots or 27.78 kmph. It was owned by the Cayser, Irvin and Co., Glasgow, and leased by the Commonwealth until 14 April 1915. The Clan Maccorquodale was torpedoed and sunk in Mediterranean, 17 November 1917.
