6th Australian Light Horse Regiment

6th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 28th Reinforcement Kyarra Group, embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A55 Kyarra 7 September 1917.
The HMAT A55 Kyarra weighed 6,953 tons with an average cruise speed of 14 knots or 25.92 kmph. It was owned by the AUSN Co Ltd, London, and manned by Australia officers and crew. The Kyarra was leased by the Commonwealth until 4 January 1918. The Kyarra was torpedoed and sunk by a submarine in the English Channel, 26 May 1918.

3355 Private Resolute Edward FRANCIS, a 40 year old Farmer from Dhulura, New South Wales. He enlisted on 1 March 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 5 March 1919.
3357 Private Francis William GOLDING, a 31 year old Barman from Darlinghurst, New South Wales. He enlisted on 19 April 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 28 June 1919.
3359 Private Edward HAMBLY, a 38 year old Farmer from Granville, New South Wales. He enlisted on 20 March 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 28 June 1919.
3363 Private James Robertson LLOYD, an 18 year old Electrician from Newtown, New South Wales. He enlisted on 13 April 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 28 June 1919.
3380 Private William MORGAN, an 18 year old Hairdresser from Goulburn, New South Wales. He enlisted on 4 April 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 28 June 1919.
3373 Private Claude TUCKWELL, an 18 year old Clerk from Woollahra, New South Wales. He enlisted on 14 April 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 13 March 1919.
