9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - CO, Adjutant and one officer from each Squadron went with General Officer in Command Brigade to see positions as held by Turks at Bir el Mazar.
1917
Thursday, December 6, 19179th Light Horse Regiment Location - El Burj.
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - In bivouac. Working party burying 63 Turkish dead. During the afternoon, Kildea, Lieutenant FJ; and, a party collected abandoned enemy war material.
1918
Friday, December 6, 1918
9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Mejdelaya, Tripoli
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Hahn, Lieutenant HJ; Kildea, Lieutenant FJ; and, eleven Other Ranks proceeded on three days leave to Besherri in the Lebanon mountains. Mueller, Lieutenant GLH, evacuated to hospital. Heavy rain all day, which soon made the camping area very boggy and unpleasant, the soil being heavy red loam. In this bivouac breast lines were once again brought into use.
