3rd Light Horse Field Ambulance, AIF, 15th Reinforcement, embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A43 Barunga 6 April 1916.
The HMAT A43 Barunga weighed 7,484 tons with an average cruise speed of 11 knots or 20.37 kmph. The Barunga was previously a captured German vessel called Sumatra. It was manned by Australia officers and crew. The Barunga was torpedoed and sunk by a submarine in the North Atlantic, 15 July 1918.

9493 Private Ernest Arthur DREW, a 25 year old Jeweller from North Carlton, Victoria. He enlisted on 24 July 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 10 July 1919.
9494 Private Stanley Morris NYE, a 26 year old Chemist from Essendon, Victoria. He enlisted on 20 July 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 27 June 1919.
9495 Private Charles Robert REDROBE, a 24 year old Tailors cutter from North Carlton, Victoria. He enlisted on 24 July 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 10 July 1919.
9496 Private James Donald ROBINSON, a 45 year old Benchman from North Brunswick, Victoria. He enlisted on 9 July 1915; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 12 November 1917.
9497 Private Archibald Henry SMITH, a 24 year old Printer from North Carlton, Victoria. He enlisted on 24 July 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 6 September 1919.
9498 Private James Albert STOCK, a 27 year old Japanner from West Brunswick, Victoria. He enlisted on 24 July 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 10 March 1919.
