13th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 7th Reinforcement, embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A40 Ceramic 23 November 1915.

The HMAT A40 Ceramic weighed 18,481 tons with an average cruise speed of 15 knots or 27.78 kmph. It was owned by the Oceanic SN Co Ltd, Liverpool, and leased by the Commonwealth until 9 July 1917.

The ensuing individual soldier's embarkation information contains the following details:

13th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 8th Reinforcement, embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A6 Clan Maccorquodale 6 May 1916.

The HMAT A6 Clan Maccorquodale weighed 5121 tons with an average cruise speed of 15 knots or 27.78 kmph. It was owned by the Cayser, Irvin and Co., Glasgow, and leased by the Commonwealth until 14 April 1915. The Clan Maccorquodale was torpedoed and sunk in Mediterranean, 17 November 1917.

1903 Private Alfred Thomas PRATER, a 19 year old Farmer from Bamawm, Victoria. He enlisted on 11 May 1916; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 19 April 1919.

 

1890 Private Howard ROBERTSON, a 38 year old Traveller from North Fitzroy, Victoria. He enlisted on 5 June 1916; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 25 August 1917.

 

1908 Private Charles Herbert SIMMONS, a 43 year old Harness maker from Melbourne, Victoria. He enlisted on 29 January 1916; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 4 June 1919.

1909 Private William James SINCLAIR, a 25 year old Farmer from Wood Wood, Victoria. He enlisted on 16 July 1916; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 4 May 1917.

1911 Private David Miller Thompson SKIDMORE, a 29 year old Labourer from Beechworth, Victoria. He enlisted on 1 May 1916; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 21 July 1918.

1910 Private Gordon Leslie SKIDMORE, a 25 year old Labourer from Beechworth, Victoria. He enlisted on 1 May 1916; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 4 June 1919.

 

64 Corporal George TATE, a 29 year old Storeman from Carlton, Melbourne, Victoria. He enlisted on 19 December 1914; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 20 May 1919.

1897 Private Harold THORNHILL, a 19 year old Driver from Richmond, Victoria. He enlisted on 12 June 1916; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 23 June 1919.

1907 Private Leslie Alfred TOLLIDAY, an 18 year old Baker from Ballarat, Victoria. He enlisted on 14 July 1916; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 8 November 1919.

1893 Private Bruce Gilbert TOPP, a 19 year old Slaughterman from North Melbourne, Victoria. He enlisted on 8 June 1916; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 31 December 1917.

476 Sergeant Robert Henry TUFF, a 22 year old Grocer from 'Blytheville', Norwood Road, Caulfield, Victoria. He enlisted on 20 April 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 7 July 1919.

 

1905 Private Percy Andrew WAANDERS, a 25 year old Labourer from Stawell, Victoria. He enlisted on 3 September 1915; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 31 January 1918.
