9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Formation of Regiment occurring at Morphettville Race Course Camp, Adelaide, while "C" Squadron is formed at Broadmeadows Camp, Victoria.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Bomb examination class held at Brigade Headquarters today. All available officers and NCOs attended. Second Lieutenant AE Matthews of D Squadron evacuated sick today - sick - general debility.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - All troops coming in from front line are to be disinfected and their kit fumigated for lice. The first batch of 100 were sent for disinfection. Daly, Major TJ, admitted to hospital from Mounted School of Instruction as result of accident.
