9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Formation of Regiment occurring at Morphettville Race Course Camp, Adelaide, while "C" Squadron is formed at Broadmeadows Camp, Victoria.

9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Rhododendron Spur
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - General Godley inspected the trenches today. With the advent of cooler weather the sick parades are much smaller and the general health of the camp is much better. The water supply is short - the daily issue having been reduced to three quarters of a gallon per day.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - The Regiment withdrew at 0030 arriving back in bivouac at 0345 on morning of 28th October. Commencement of operations around Beersheba. The Regiment moved at 1530 on trek to Khalasa. Arrived 1½ miles south of Bir el Esani 2200 and bivouacked for the night at Maalaga.

9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Jobar
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - 1030 Moved from Jobar to one mile west of Adra arriving there at 1430 and bivouacked. Bivouac sheets arrived. Sharp, Lieutenant RC, sent to Beirut for change and rest.
