9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - C Squadron moved to Bir el Kasseiba to relieve squadron of 8th Light Horse Regiment. Duty Regiment. Enemy aeroplane flew over Bir el Mahla.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Squadrons building sangars along front and support lines. No enemy activity. Small issue of boots arrived. The Regiment's boots were found to be in a deplorable condition. Kildea, Lieutenant FJ; and, one Other Rank marched out to Imperial School of Instruction, Zeitoun.
