9th Light Horse Regiment Location - HMAT A10 "Karroo", at sea.
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - No entry.
Carew Reynell Diary - Pushed off at 1800 after losing another horse. That's two gone and one sick - No. 16318 who has pleurisy after recovering from pneumonia.
Got lime and sawdust at Colombo but couldn't get a number of necessary veterinary drugs.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - No entry.
1917
Thursday, March 1, 19179th Light Horse Regiment Location - Hod Masaid, Sinai.
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Brigade Field Day. Moved out at 0900 and after obtaining touch with "flag enemy" deployed and attacked him. At 1200 were here held up by the enemy and forced back to Bir Masmi.
Chanter, Captain JC, C Squadron transferred to 4th Light Horse Regiment, 4th Light Horse Brigade.
1918

9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Deir el Belah, Palestine.
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Lane, Lieutenant BGB; and, one Other Rank marched in form Moascar.
Hotchkiss Rifle spare teams carried out firing practice on 30 yards range under Ayliffe, Lieutenant SH. Training was generally carried out as per syllabus.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Usual camp routine. Afternoon personnel from the Regiment attended the 2nd Light Horse Regiment Bed Races.
