HMAT A23 Suffolk

 

2nd Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 12th Reinforcements, embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board HMAT A23 Suffolk 30 November 1915.

The HMAT A23 Suffolk weighed 7,573 tons with an average cruise speed of 12 knots or 22.22 kmph. It was owned by the Potter, Trinder and Gwyn, London, and leased by the Commonwealth until 14 June 1917.

The ensuing individual soldier's embarkation information contains the following details:
