9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Damijelik Hills9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - 0100 Second Lieutenant GM McDonald and 166 Private Morrison WN at head of 30 men bombed their way along a trench on the left for about 70 yards and connected up with 10th Light Horse Regiment. Our causalties for whole action were 15 killed, 45 wounded, 18 missing.
Total 78 which included Lieutenant Colonel Reynell, Captain Callary, and Captain Jaffray still missing.
1000 All except 25 of our men were relieved from the trenches during which time we have supplied drafts of 1 Officer 24 Other Ranks towards maintenance of positions.

9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Ludd area
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Inspection of all kit and equipment carried out by Squadron Leaders also inspection of all pack saddlery and lead harnesses carried out by Regimental Quarter Master.
Lecture delivered at Brigade Headquarters at 1700 to all officers of the Brigade by Fowler, Lieutenant Colonel, ADMS.
