5th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 2nd Reinforcements, embarked from Brisbane, Queensland on board HMAT A53 Itria 9 February 1915.

The HMAT A53 Itria weighed 5,318 tons with an average cruise speed of 10 knots or 18.52 kmph. It was owned by the British India SN Co Ltd, London, and leased by the Commonwealth until 17 June 1917.

The ensuing individual soldier's embarkation information contains the following details:

711 Private Thomas DONALDSON, a 27 year old Waggon maker from Bundamba, Queensland. He enlisted on 14 December 1914; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 5 March 1919.

714 Private Charles Edward DONNELLY, a 23 year old Farmer from Douglas, New South Wales. He enlisted on 14 December 1914; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 24 July 1919.

5th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 4th Reinforcements, embarked from Brisbane, Queensland on board HMAT A15 Star of England 8 April 1915.

The HMAT A15 Star of England, later renamed Port Sydney, weighed 9,136 tons with an average cruise speed of 13.5 knots or 25.00 kmph. It was owned by the Commonwealth & Dominion Line Ltd, London, and leased by the Commonwealth until 22 September 1917.

The ensuing individual soldier's embarkation information contains the following details:

The last address as a civilian;
