2nd Light Horse Field Ambulance, AIF, 6th Reinforcement, embarked from Brisbane, Queensland on board HMAT A63 Karoola 12 June 1915.
The HMAT A63 Karoola weighed 7,391 tons with an average cruise speed of 15 knots or 27.78 kmph. It was owned by the McIlwraith, McEacharn's Line Pty Ltd, Melbourne, and manned by Australian officers and crews. The Karoola was leased by the Commonwealth until June 1919.

4058 Private Charles Joseph O'NEILL, a 26 year old Draper’s mate from New Farm, Queensland. He enlisted on 24 March 1915; and subsequently was Killed in Action, 11 October 1917.
4057 Private Gordon George SHIRRAS, a 22 year old Storeman from Indooroopilly, Queensland. He enlisted on 5 January 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 26 January 1919.
4056 Driver William Rose SHIRRAS, a 27 year old Clerk from Indooroopilly, Queensland. He enlisted on 21 December 1914; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 22 November 1919.
