The following is a transcription of the Signal No. 4 of the 2nd Infantry Brigade, AIF, which forms part of a series which illustrates the chaos and problems experienced in executing their role in the landings at Anzac on 25 April 1915.

At 9.54 am A Coy in touch with 3rd Bde all is badly mixed at 224 C1 My right extends 400 yards thus 224 CC and has not close touch with Bn on right. I think there is a tendency to push on too much on right.
