9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Routine work. Horses regaining condition.

9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Abasan el Kebir
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - At 0500 word received from Brigade to turn out on a practice alarm.
Rations and supplies for 72 hours to be carried on the men and horse, i.e. unexpended portion of the day's ration, one day's special rations per man and horse, and the iron ration.
At 0645 the Regiment paraded in mass and moved across the railway line to the Brigade rendezvous about two miles south east of the camp where it was inspected by the General Officer in Command Brigade and Division - returning to camp at 0900.
"A" Echelon transport - water cart, one limber of SAA [small arms ammunition] and one limber of technical tools accompanied the Regiment. "B" Echelon - baggage and supplies parading under the Brigade Transport Office.

Three GS wagons and personnel rejoined Regiment from Divisional Train.
