The General Service Reinforcements, 1st GSR, South Australia, embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board the HMAT A18 Wiltshire 10 June 1918.
The HMAT A18 Wiltshire weighed 10,390 tons with an average cruise speed of 13.5 knots or 25.00 kmph. It was owned by the Commonwealth & Dominion Line Ltd, London, and leased by the Commonwealth until 2 October 1917.

After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 9th Light Horse Regiment; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 29 April 1919.
50508 Private Stewart Ross BROUGHTON, a 19 year old Labourer from Aldinga, South Australia. He enlisted on 12 November 1917. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 9th Light Horse Regiment; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 17 July 1919.
50509 Private Ernest Victor BUICK, a 33 year old Farmer from Adelaide, South Australia. He enlisted on 20 October 1917. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 9th Light Horse Regiment; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 15 April 1919.
50510 Private John Harrison CATTERMOLE, a 23 year old Sharefarmer from Yalata, South Australia. He enlisted on 1 January 1918. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 1st Light Horse Machine Gun Squadron; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 15 May 1919.
50526 Private Albert Victor Bloxolm CLARKE, a 36 year old Grazier from Reedy Creek, South Australia. He enlisted on 22 January 1918. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 9th Light Horse Regiment; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 10 July 1919.
50511 Private Edward Vernon GOLDSMITH, an 18 year old Mercantile Clerk from Adelaide, South Australia. He enlisted on 2 December 1917. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 1st Light Horse Machine Gun Squadron; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 24 July 1919.
50512 Private George HARDY, a 19 year old Student from St Peters, South Australia. He enlisted on 2 November 1917. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 9th Light Horse Regiment; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 19 February 1919.
50524 Private Gilbert Bruce HENDERSON, an 18 year old Student from Adelaide, South Australia. He enlisted on 2 November 1917. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 1st Light Horse Machine Gun Squadron; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 20 May 1920.
50514 Private William John HOPKINS, an 18 year old Farm labourer from Burra, South Australia. He enlisted on 8 January 1918. 50513 Private Horace Glen HORNHARDT, a 26 year old Farmer from Cowell, South Australia. He enlisted on 3 January 1918. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 3rd Light Horse Regiment; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 15 May 1919.
50516 Private Arthur JONES, a 23 year old Farm labourer from Adelaide, South Australia. He enlisted on 2 August 1917. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 4th Light Horse Machine Gun Squadron; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 26 July 1919.
50517 Private Harry McPHERSON, a 35 year old Station hand from Broken Hill, New South Wales. He enlisted on 7 August 1917. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 9th Light Horse Regiment; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 10 July 1919.
50518 Private John MILLER, a 20 year old Farm labourer from Mt Gambier, South Australia. He enlisted on 11 January 1918. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 9th Light Horse Regiment; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 10 July 1919.
51849 Private Alan Harvey RACKHAM, an 18 year old Labourer from Penola, South Australia. He enlisted on 28 November 1917. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 43rd Infantry Battalion; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 1 November 1919.
50522 Private Harold William ROBBINS, a 25 year old Boot maker from Semaphore, South Australia. He enlisted on 7 January 1918. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 2nd Light Horse Field Squadron Engineers; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 15 March 1919.
50506 Acting Corporal Louis Clifton ROBERTS, a 27 year old Farmer from Wandearah, South Australia. He enlisted on 24 July 1917. After embarkation and arrival in Egypt where he underwent additional training, he was allotted to the 9th Light Horse Regiment; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia 10 July 1919.
50519 Private William Stafford SLATER, a 33 year old Labourer from St Peters, South Australia. He enlisted on 10 October 1917. 50523 Private Herbert William STACY, an 18 year old Clerk from North Adelaide, South Australia. He enlisted on 8 December 1917.
