9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - No entry.
3rd Light Horse Brigade War Diary - Working parties under major Todd improving communication trenches.
Second memo to COs regarding irregularities in trenches.
Garling bomb thrower issued for use.
Twelve specially selected snipers sent out on left of No. 3 Post for reconnaissance, one wounded.
Heavy firing heard Hellas.
W Turk Gun after five days silence shelled Anzac. Our guns unable to locate or silence.

9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Roadhead Serapeum.
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Word received for the 3rd Squadron 9th Regiment to accompany the column owing to 1st Squadron of the 10th Regiment being unable to go as their horses were unfit.
In addition to the troops mentioned, a wireless section, 2 Machine Gun Sections, engineers and about 1,000 camels (transport) were included in the column.
The troops assembled at a point east of Roadhead at about 1430 and moved off towards Harab.
Bivouacked for night in Wadi Mukshieb at a point about 25 miles east of Railhead.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - The Commanding Officer inspected the Regiment men standing to their horses.
Appointments of Freebairn, 259 Sergeant DT; Rickaby, 1139 Sergeant TN; and, Wagg, 503 Sergeant BSW, to Second Lieutenants dated 20th, 21st and 22nd May 1917 respectively. Advised by Divisional Wire.

9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Ain Ed Duk
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - 0920 Small enemy movement observed on Tel el Rishem.
At 1300 Tel el Truny patrol withdrew to vicinity of Wick Post. An enemy patrol of about seven then occupied Tel el Truny but on being shelled they withdrew at 1500 up the Auja Gorge.
1900 “A” Squadron with one troop “B” Squadron attached relieved “C” Squadron as Day Outpost Squadron. 20 crates of beer distributed to the regiment. Charley, Major WT, returned from Egyptian Leave.
Three Other Ranks proceeded on leave to Egypt.
