9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Walkers Ridge
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - No Entry.
3rd Light Horse Brigade War Diary - Quiet night. Enemy active shelling, during day, trenches and Brigade Headquarters with French 75.
Wellington Mounted Rifles, one killed and three wounded in trenches.
Three wounded and three sick returned to duty. Twelve men away sick.
Total sick away sick to hospital 421 = 22% of strength landed or 25% of strength less killed and wounded, 248 men.
Major Cook's death from wounds at Malta on 4 July 1915 advised today.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - 1330 Enemy shelled watering area in Wadi Auja from 1330 to 1400 also shelled 2nd Light Horse Brigade who had casualties in men and horses.
