9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - On arrival at 0800 the Regiment continued digging on the trenches until 1700 when Regimental Headquarters, “A” Squadron and “B” Squadron returned to bivouac at Abasan el Kebir leaving “C” Squadron at El Gamli to continue digging under orders of the CO, 8th Light Horse Regiment.
