9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Walkers Ridge
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - 0730 to 1623 Armistice arranged to allow for burial of dead of both sides between the lines.
3rd Light Horse Brigade War Diary - 10th Light Horse Regiment placed under No. 3 Section of Defence. Cessation of hostilities 0730 to 1630 for burial of dead.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Routine work. Training with musketry, bayonet fighting and mounted work.
Swimming parade to canal - 1 Squadron daily.
1917
Thursday, May 24, 1917
9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Goz Mabruk
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - The Regiment moved with the Brigade at 0500 and reached the bivouac in vicinity of Tel el Marakeb at 0900.
One Sergeant and 25 Other Ranks marched in from 3rd Light Horse Training Squadron, Moascar.
1918

9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Auja Bridgehead defences
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - From 0800 to 0900, Regimental bivouac area was shelled by an enemy 4.1 naval gun. 25 high explosive and shrapnel shells fell in the vicinity of the Regimental area. High explosive shells were mostly of armour piercing and buried themselves five or six feet before exploding. No damage done except three saddles blown up on Regimental Headquarters horse line. Shell specimens were collected and forwarded to Brigade headquarters.

9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Tel el Kebir
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - 0900 Tents struck.
Edgerley, Lieutenant WF, returned from leave to Damascus.
1100 Tents repitched.
1200, Edgerley, Lieutenant WF, proceeded to relieve Gibney, Lieutenant BE, at El Rimal - Gibney, Lieutenant BE, required for pay duties Cairo.
